Gift shop

One from the street photography files today.Last time in Trichy, i spent an entire evening walking around the commercial street at the foot of the Rockfort, taking photos. That was the first time i literally just walked around, giving almost no heed to people staring me down, as i knelt or held my camera 7 feet high, to take photos. And it was an interesting experience, one i would recommend everyone should do in places where you didn't have the risk of getting arrested for something like this. Saw many people huddling into what appeared to be tiny gift shops a.k.a fancy stores. They sold accessories or similar items, from plastic hairbands to gold plated chains. One of many stores on the street, requiring the salesman cum shopkeeper to try selling to all walk-ins. I'd imagine these being tough times for sure, but life must go on. Main Guard, Trichy.
