After-dark sales

Trichy isn't exactly a town that doesn't sleep. Majority, if not all commercial establishments are closed before midnight and people retire to their homes. There are however, a lot of people that don't sleep, their livelihoods depending on it. This push-cart shop seems to operate only late in the nights, and that too under the street lamp, with no light of its own. I've seen many people in and around the main bus terminals and its shops, and some even having those tiny bottle-cap sized teas at whatever tea shop would still be open.  Maybe next time, I'll venture into the dark with my camera, if its considered safe. For now, I'm just sitting our apartment in Kuwait, very much in the dark, reminiscing that very street that's right outside Andy's home. Puthoor, Trichy.
